Job Brief
Job Summary: We are seeking an Equipment Operator (UNION 49) to operate and maintain heavy construction equipment to support earthwork and civil construction projects, including site grading, excavation, trenching, material handling, backfilling, etc. This role works safely and efficiently in coordination with foremen, laborers, truck drivers, and other trades to meet production goals while maintaining quality, grade, and compaction requirements.
Job Duties:
- Operate various types of construction equipment including: backhoes, bulldozers, loaders, rollers, graders and excavators to dig, excavate and grade a construction sites to blue print specifications.
- Load & unload materials in a responsible manner to maintain a safe work environment
- Transport materials to designated locations
- Preform routine and minor maintenance on equipment
Job Type: Full-time

Requirements
Skills & Experience
- 18+ years of age
- Good ability and knowledge in the operation of a variety of construction equipment that is being used on the job site
- The ability to perform minor and routine maintenance of equipment that is being used
- The ability to load and unload materials and transporting them to designated locations
- Understanding of safety regulations, protocols, and spatial awareness
- The ability to work as a team and also independently
